iPhone 6 + NFC

So can developers access NFC or is it only for Apple Pay? I know some Android developers have some cool apps that use NFC. I wonder if Apple has opened up NFC to developers out there.

It was never discussed. Very possibly not. They didn't open TouchID for the initial run during iOS7.

I suspect NFC will be opened up to developers in iOS 9.
