iPhone 6 odd quality in pictures put on MacBook Pro

    Ok, so I have an iPhone 6 running 8.1 iOS. I have noticed that my photos are super blurry. I took a ton of photos at an event and when I put them on my computer they looked like crap. I am a hobby photographer and consider myself meticulous in making sure my photos are crystal clear. I've noticed that they just don't look as good as my 5s photos used to look. Here's my question though...

    Is it just me or are the pictures looking great on the phone and then mucking up as they are transfered to the computer?! I also have problems with the TinType app (from Hipstamatic)- when I use it and it puts a "tin type" flare on the photo, I'll transfer it and it will change it to a plain color photo. (I have a new MacBook Pro that I'm putting them on, in iPhoto)
