I got an iPhone 6 Plus for 200 dollars less a week ago. I can return it for free within 45 days. I live in Norway, so an upgrade will probably be available in the middle of October. Is it worth saving 200 dollars on the current model iPhone 6 Plus or spend another 200 dollar in a month or two in order to get the iPhone 6S?

It really just depends on what you want. My mom is getting a new phone and doesn't care about features or performance like I do, so she's just going to get a 6 now. If you're a tech freak, you can choose to wait it out and get the 6S, but if you don't care that much and are content with the device you have now, hang on to it. Based on what you've said, it sounds like you've somehow saved a couple hundred bucks on it, so that's a good deal.

Without know the following, it is impossible to give a decent answer.

1 - What will the new phone cost
2 - What features will the new phone have
3 - What is important to you once you compare that new phone

And, since we do not have the answers to any of those, no answer for you.

I'm on MacRumors forum. We have the answers...in a way :)

Forgot to mention I also own a standard iPhone 6, which I never use for anything serious because of the screen size. Hoping to fix small snippets of code on the fly, optimise db queries and stuff on the fly with the larger display on the plus. I also do travel from early mornings to late nights occasionally, and even though I own a power bank, I don't want to bring additional gear and I dislike charging at cafes. The freedom of less gear and a bigger battery along with the screen estate is what draws me towards the plus. My biggest concern is that it won't fit in a blazer/sport coat outer pocket.

If you can afford to have a iPhone 6 that you never use. I don't know why you're concerned with saving $200.

I use it mostly for phonecalls on my retina Macbook. On travels I check times for departure and banking.

On saving 200 dollars...
I buy a lot of "in case stuff" because they are "cheaper" and I may need it or it will give me more comfort in my endeavors.
