Iphone 6 plus horrible camera flare

I read another member here had similar issues but I wanted to ask if others are experiencing the same. Try and shoot a picture of something really bright like a light bulb, look around and see if you spot green dot / line like reflections of the light within the picture. This is evidently a flare, but a really annoying one. It also consistently happens whenever the picture involves an indoor light with high exposure.

Apparently the same happens with older iPhones but the flare is smaller

That's normal. Change your focus and it should help, it'll probably get darker though, but that's also normal.

The green spot is weird though.

Do you have a case on it? Sometimes if the case camera cutout isn't big enough it can cause similar problems.
