Of course there is such a thing when the seller doesn't disable Find My iPhone and the buyer doesn't know any better, and with typical users that wouldn't be a stretch at all. why everyone insist on getting someone else's password when the original owner can log in to iCloud.com and remove the iPhone from the account remotely.
