Hey everybody, I have an iPhone 6, but I'm thinking to buy the new 6s Plus, but I'm scared about the 3-hour charge time with the original 5W charger.

I've a question for the users that have an iPhone 6 Plus or 6s Plus and charge it with the iPad 12W charger... It is a minor charge time than the 5W Charger? How much it takes the iPhone 6s Plus to get a full charge with that 12W Charger?

Thank you!

I haven't used my iPad charger on my 6S+, but it should charge faster on a 10 or 12W charger just like the 6+ does (it can charge at 2A instead of the 1A with a 5W charger). With twice the current coming in, you can roughly estimate a 3 hour charge would be cut to about 1.5 hours.

I use my iPad charger to charge my iPhone 6S Plus and the charge time of 1.5 hours is just about right.
