I'm thinking I selling my 6 so I can get the plus, but is the plus really all that or is it hype more then anything else.

In order of reasons it may be preferable to the 4.7" version (for me):

Bigger screen
Better battery life
HD screen
Optical Image Stabilisation
Landscape mode is more refined and tablet-like
The loudspeaker sounds better with music

The negatives are;

Less pocketability
Heavier
More expensive

I agree

It's good, but I do not personally believe that it's all that.

I went to an Apple Store today and held both the 6 and 6 Plus in my hands. I tried to move the phone (6 Plus) a little and it completely slipped out of my hands. The 6, however, fit into my hand quite nicely, and it was comfortable.

I don't have the biggest hands in the world, but they are pretty big and made the Plus look smaller, but it doesn't change that fact that it's abnormally big. My hands started to shake from strain while trying to reach an app on the left side.

I'll sacrifice the cooler features of the 6 Plus for a phone that I can use comfortably and is a bit cheaper (iPhone 6).

just paid for one in China.

damn that $200 markup over the US out-of-contract price sucks.

iPhone 6 plus is it really all that

Out of curiosity, why the 6+ over the Note 4?

Well to me the Note 4 has a lot of wasted features. It has a quad hd screen but you have to really look to find anything in quad hd. Even YouTube on Android only shows 720p. It has a 4k camera but most people don't have 4k tvs.

Also its plastic....iphone 6 plus feels so much better and premium in hand.

I really like my 6 Plus, the battery life is amazing. But if I were you I would just keep the iPhone 6 and wait for the 6S Plus or whatever it's going to be called when it's released a year from now.

What are your reasons for selling the 6?

If your reasoning is you want a bigger screen, it is ALL THAT.
If your reasoning is wanting optical image stabilization it is ALL THAT too!

It's not much more...

Recently I converted from Android to iOS. One big reason was because I was constantly switching phones. Every time a new phone came out with better specs, and better hardware I just had to have it. So I switched to iOS as a way to kind of control this bad habit. So for me when I first switched over the only phone I could find on T-Mobile was the 6, and although I tried I knew there was no way I could last one year let alone two with a phone knowing there was one out even with slightly better specs. So now I have the 6+ and I'm loving it. I guess upgrading my phone once a year is better than every other month.

And it's not just with phones. A couple months ago I bought a 2014 Toyota Camry, now they came out with a redesigned 2015 and I'm not too pleased. Lol I've got a problem. lol

I don't follow your logic, but if it pleases you, that's really all that matters. :)

Well what I'm really saying had the IPhone 6 been released with the exact same hardware just different screen size it would be a tougher decision. But there are a lot of people like me who care about spec and want the best. Sorry but the 6 not having a full 1080p screen kills the whole phone for me.
