Hello, a few days ago I discovered that my phone rattles but not all the time! I have had it for a year now but had no idea about the rattling.. I think the noise comes from the camera but I also dropped it and I am not sure if this noise is the usual rattling or sth that has been caused by the fall. I can assure u that I have the same noise as that on the vid:
What do u think? Thanx in advance!

My 6 does this as well. I wouldn't worry about it because it's just part of the camera that rattles. It's a normal part of the phone and has happened on every iPhone for as long as I can remember.

I'm worried because I checked 3 other friends' phones and none of them did it...

Oh god not this again. I went through all this **** back in 2012 when I got my iPhone 5 (I still use it). I've had my iPhone 5 replaced 2 times and all 3 phones made the exact same noise yours is making now.

I haven't even thought about that noise, let alone heard it in a few years. If you walk around shaking your phone like that on a daily basis you have bigger (Michael J. Fox) issues to worry about.

Yes but it sounds like a rattle as if sth has broken inside and it doesn't make the noise all the time..

My regular six from last year or should I say the replacement I got in the summer has a rattle as bad as yours.

My 6S Plus this year has the rattle but about 1/4 as loud. It varies between phones. I wouldn't worry about it unless you hear it from normal use. Mine is pretty much only heard if I purposely rattle it.

Mine too when i shake it!

I have a 5s that rattles like that. The cause is me not replacing the adhesive when I swapped out the battery.

There is something called a 'floating' lens in the camera, or so I have been told (read in previous threads).
