iPhone 6 Plus screen issue

My daughter's phone has something similar to the known touch screen problem, but it doesn't get a grey bar across the top. Sometimes the screen works, sometimes it doesn't. I've had the screen replaced a few times, too.

Any ideas what this could be?

If I recall the touch issue was due to Touch IC going bad, I doubt replacing the screen itself would do much.

Right, but this one doesn't have the grey bar across the top.

It still could be related to those chips, as replacing the screen didn't solve the problem. Just a thought, I'm not saying I know for sure though.

Yes, that is the Touch Disease.

There are two Touch ICs (cumulus chip and meson chip).

Cumulus chip fails = flickering

Mason chip fails = no flickering
