I have the regular 6, and the sync time for me seemed the same, if not, faster than my 5s. If that helps lol.

Nope it was just as fast as my iPhone 5s with syncing and restoring. Have you tried restoring the phone back to factory settings then restore your data.

Sync was nice and snappy on my 6+.

I did a reset of my network settings and everything is fast now.

Bah.. Rebooted the MB and 6+ and now speeds are back to normal. Sorry for the false alarm 🙂
