you would think before they tore it apart they could run a quick geekbench 3 test  it takes about 2 minutes lol

Ok found some numbers. The iPhone 6 runs at 1.2GHz and the iPhone 6 Plus runs at 1.4GHz. The multi core score on the Plus is about 11% faster at nearly 2900. That's about as fast as a 3GHz Core 2 Duo in the late 2009 iMac—with the same 1080p screen resolution—but in your pants. Whoa!

What? You *could* have said, "Glad they stuck with 1GB. I don't want to pay extra $$$ for additional RAM.

But you certainly can't be glad they stuck with 1GB if they could have put 2GB in there and kept the price the same.

And the "No reason we need any more" line is just dumb. There is always a reason for more RAM. If you don't need it, your apps don't use it. But it's better to have than have not my friend.

There is no evidence they could have kept the price the same, and more open windows on safari is not 100% ram usage. Not sure why people are making comments on a product they don't even have yet.

Right, times have changes, iOS has changed, and Apple has a good idea of how much Ram you need to be efficient.

Is that why the OG iPad can't even run iOS 5 with out crashing almost every other second and the iPad air on its native os also runs not so great? This thing will run iOS 9 and 10 terribly.

First time Apple went 3 generations with the same amount of RAM. They have a good idea of how to make us upgrade. They saved a memory upgrade on the most anticipated model like they saved dual core for 4S after iPhone 4.

iOS 9/10 will be 2015/2016 I'll have a 7S by then so I'm not really worried.

People have been burned before. Ask any iPad 1 owner.

I'm really glad Apple kept the screws instead of gluing the screen like the iPod touches. Those are hell to remove their screen.

You are going to have a 2017 phone in 2015? Can i please see ur time machine?

I said 2015/2016, not sure when either will be released. Isn't iOS every year? If they're on v8, I feel like it's been more than 8 years since the OG iPhone, but I don't recall.

Only a few more hours for those in the US!!

I will pull an Adrian Peterson or Ray Rice on anyone that tries to cut in front of me at the Apple Store.

BEWARE.

Well then you better hope Chuck Norris doesn't step in front of you at the Apple Store... ;)

Cue the people who talk about individual specs (RAM) like they're everything.

/Any Apple product is worth more than the sum of it's parts./

Something's got to give with battery technology, and very soon too. There will be size limits in terms of usability. A bigger-sized battery is not the answer. If Apple can crack that nut, then I will be truly impressed.

I've said it for a while now: if a company can bring forth a nexus between electronics and battery technology, they'll be bigger than Apple.

It's happening by 2020 in Tesla's GigaFactory. I have faith that Elon isn't building this factory for car batteries only. I bet it will also build batteries of a new technology that, I predict, will come out in the next 2-3 years.

Presumably the 6+ will take twice as long to charge as the 5S then..., assuming the same wall charger is provided? I wonder if it can charge faster with a 10 or 12 watt charger?

i don't know if any aussies would wanna try that with their brand new 6+ that takes a month to replace if it gets fried :D
