I was looking at sold listings on ebay. I noticed a few iPhone 6 64gb were what seemed very expensive. $600 for one and $1000 for another. What gives?

Those are the guys that think they will get $1000 for a used iphone 6 but in the end they get just get scammed and get no money and lose their phone.
I wasn't one of "those guys", but I did get scammed selling my original iPhone on eBay back in 2008. It was totally my fault, too, as I forgot the "ship only to verified addresses" rule.
I hear you, there's tons of scams on eBay even if you do it all right and ship to verified address.
I wouldn't advise anyone to risk it.

Look at average selling prices of the model you're interested in on Swappa.comSo how much is a fair price for a used iphone 6 64gb? $300- $360?
Ebay pricing isn't reflective of anything. People can ask whatever they want for a product. Doesn't mean they will sell it at that price.
That appears to be the fair asking rate on Swappa. So how much is a fair price for a used iphone 6 64gb? $300- $360?
As a buyer, I have been able to find some great steals on eBay from sellers unloading last year's Apple tech for the current year models. It may not be bleeding edge but it sure is economical.eBay was lucrative for me in the years past. Now, I won't even use it anymore. It's unfortunate, but selling electronics on their is not worth my time or investment.
