iPhone 6 raised screen edge

my iPhone 6 screen feels like it's raised a little on the top and bottom edges. I thought they were supposed to be flush with the sides.

Is this normal?

There have been several threads reporting that their screen does not seem to be seated in the case. Some just on one side and others on the top or bottom. They should be the same all the way around.
