Hey guys, just swapped our iPhone 6 plus's for iPhone 6's. Both my wife's and mine rattle on the top part of the phone. You notice it when you place it on tables that you hear a rattle, also tapping on the upper part of the phone on the back you hear the rattle. Doesn't sound like it the camera. Anyone else have this issue? just wanted to confirm before getting both of ours swapped out

I haven't noticed a rattle on my 6+, but I haven't really been paying attention and looking for it either. I do know both of our iPhone 5's had a bit of rattle near the top of the phone, possible due to the power button or maybe the camera components. Regardless, it never got worse over the course of 2 years and never affected the functionality of the phone, so if this is something similar you are probably fine.

Yup, I have the same noise on my iPhone 6. My wife doesn't have that noise issue. So am curious to see if they is normal or is an issue and should swap it out.

To confirm, there was no rattle with both our previous plus's, and also check couple buddies plus's and no rattle. Only our 6's have the rattle. And from what I can see its not from the camera module. Infact my previous 5s had the rattle, but was from the buttons being loose. This time, sounds like something inside is rattling, thought it was the vibrate module, but looks like that's towards the bottom. May have to make an appointment to swap

My iPhone 6 has also started to make this rattling noise when I shake it.
It sounds as if something has gone loose inside.
the phone functions normally.

it's 10 months old and I can confirm this noise was not present before.

there was no impact or any physical force involved, it just started making this noise.

I have also checked an iPhobe 6 Plus and another iPhone 6 and there is no such rattling noise in them.

I have contacted Apple and they will be collecting it for investigation/repair/replacement.

I will not be happy unless this problem is fixed.
