iPhone 6 repair

Hi guys, I bought a severely damaged iPhone 6 from a from Gumtree in Australia (a service akin to Craigslist) as a hobby project to to diagnose and repair. Can anyone recommend software that I could use to identify the hardware faults?

Diagnostic software for the iPhone is not commonly out for the public to use. Apple keeps it software away from the public.

You'll have to do it the old school way.
Test out the hardware components manually.
Diagnostic software that will tell you what part failed are not available to the public.
And even those Apple utilities only function if the device is mostly workable and powers on.

Lol...pay for damaged phones? Where I live,you can find those free in the electronics container at the recycle central.
