So we get 1920x1080 and 1334x750 (WTF??? why not standard 1280x720?).

Will this translate into
- 667x375 @2x
- 640x360 @3x

so two new resolutions to care about for just "one" new device, but at the same aspect ratio?

I so hoped for the rumoured 1704 and 2272!

And they keep the same # of rows and columns for icons, just with more space right? So I ask myself, should we really care to support the new resolutions or just let Apple do the scaling?
 
It's actually 1242x2208 (736x414 points @3x) and 750x1334 (375x667 points @2x). The 6+ downscales the @3x resolution to the actual 1920x1080 hardware resolution.
