iPhone 6 review release-time?

There is an embargo on the reviewers, should expire Wednesday at the latest.

 

I read on twitter from a reviewer that it is the 17th. Can't remember offhand how it was though.

 

I suspect 19th.
But also curious.

 

Makes sense that the NDA will be lifted when iOS 8 releases. Looking forward to reading the reviews a couple days before I receive my 6+

 

Just looked at the iPhone 5s reviews, most were published on September 17th, a Tuesday.

 

Yeah I'm assuming we'll start seeing reviews on Wednesday.

 

Yeah, sites like The Verge etc. will have reviews on Wednesday.

 

Reviewers don't have theirs. They will have to wait until Friday. Friday you will see tons of reviews, the first coming from Australia.

Hm, it seems that The Verge put their reviews on the 5 and 5s the day they were released.

Maybe we will have to wait until Friday then.

 

Reviewers get them after the keynote.

 

They never have gotten them. review of Apple iPhones always come out on release date. During the keynote Cook said he had phones for them to look at.

That's not true at all. The reviews are always out at least a couple days before the release date, especially the ones from Mossberg, Pogue, etc.

Certain publications, individuals and sites will have units this week or possibly late last week for a few days of use. Expect to see reviews arrive Wednesday or Thursday, a predetermined day Apple will have told reviewers who were given early access units to release their review. It will be before Friday.

Kinda proved yourself wrong though. Mossberg's article was posted on the 18th and the phone came out 2 days later.

The Verge waited lasted year, with some bogus claim that other reviews were rushed.

 

None of them show the phone. They are just periodicals. I can write one based on what I know right now.
