Iphone 6+ Screen getting stuck upside down?

I got stuck once upside down. I kinda just kept turning on and off the orientation lock and it flipped back to normal. More annoying than anything.

Swapping it isn't going to help, just create an extra trip and hassle for you.

There isn't anyone that can fix this but Apple with hopefully just a software update. I have the same issue of it occasionally getting stuck in landscape mode and then it goes back normal after a long while.

Sometimes its upside down when I take it out of my pocket and takes around a second to revert back to normal.
 
Mine was so bad I took it to apple... They gave me a new phone and it's still doing the same thing... I'm sure it's a software issue... Also sometimes my screen doesn't respond to touch.. Also can't watch videos people post in threads..

This was happening to mine and a couple of other people in the apple store today.They swapped out everybody who I saw including me.

that happened to me when I was watching a video on facebook app or youtube app, the scrolling bar doesn't respond.
 
Mine is constantly doing this as well as locking up and just general glitching, was going to make a thread but can do without the negativity around here when your apple product doesn't perform exactly perfect like everyone else's

You guys: READ THE THREAD. The solution has already been posted. Either reset the phone or just restart it. Restarting worked for me. Yes, they need to fix it by default in the next update, but for now, it's fixable.
 
Yeah, mine sticks all the time too. 6 Plus.
Very annoying.
Kill all the open apps and powering off and then back on seems to cure it temporarily though.
Hope a fix is coming with 8.1
 
8.1 seemed to fix it for me, doesn't happen nearly as often if it all since updating.
 
Re-calibrating the compass app works for me.

Apparently the recalibration has a system wide effect.

Still annoying, but less intrusive than rebooting or restoring

I've had mine get stuck, too.

I wish I could lock the screen rotation to both landscape and normal portrait, but not allow the phone to go into 180 degree portrait. Getting pretty tired of unlocking my phone to an upside down screen.
