iPhone 6: September Announcement, Launch or Both?

So, according to an earlier announcement, will iPhone 6 be announced in September only, or will it be announced and launched in September? (US specifically)?

What's the possible outcome based on previous years trends?

usually isn't it announced then released later that week? i believe the keynotes are on tuesdays and release days are fridays.

Announcement in September and release next week's friday So yes, the release will probably be also in September.
And I also hope that there are preorders to get it on release day without waiting in line...

I think Apple is going to surprise people with the release of the 5.7" iphone 6 in June!!!

I think they will release an 11" Retina iPhone Air Pro Mini Touch. Lets see who's right next month.
