iPhone 6: September Announcement, Launch or Both?

So, according to an earlier announcement, will iPhone 6 be announced in September only, or will it be announced and launched in September? (US specifically)?

What's the possible outcome based on previous years trends?

usually isn't it announced then released later that week? i believe the keynotes are on tuesdays and release days are fridays.

Do you guys think we will get pre orders this time, and not the crap they did with the iPhone 5s? I want nothing to do with standing in line for the iPhone 6

Announcement in September and release next week's friday 🙂 So yes, the release will probably be also in September.
And I also hope that there are preorders to get it on release day without waiting in line...

I think they will release an 11" Retina iPhone Air Pro Mini Touch. Lets see who's right next month.
