anyone else notice the lightning connector on the iPhone 6 +, possibly 6 also is very sharp and not rounded by engineering?

This is annoying when holding to type in portrait mode as I often find my pinky naturally rests at the lightning port and scratches and touches the sharp edge.

Apple usually finishes its products professionally but this seems like poor manufacturing. They could also move the speaker slightly more towards the lightning port as if you hold it to game your finger covers the top part of the speaker - the yotaphone 2 has the speaker placed slightly more centred which is perfect as you don't cover any of it while holding in landscape gaming

I'm not experiencing that. I do notice a sharpness but for my phone (6+) it's coming from the fact that the vent holes near the lightning port are curved to match the round edge of the phone. Your finger catches those curves at the top of the arc.
