Hi, I am looking for thin cases that builds minimal or nothing at all higher than the front...if you catch my drift.

I want a case that feels like it is...not there...I like the feeling of a "naked" iPhone 6 in my hand. The case should not hinder this feeling.
Maybe a case that locks in place by getting grip clasping over the front at top and bottom, and not the sides?
Swiping is most oftly done from the sides I would think.

(I am also considering a back body skin protector.)

It's easier to say an answer, like "Shumuri Slim Case, Caudabe Veil, SwitchEasy or Spigen Air", than to inform him of the other threads. Less words involved.

That's hilarious and spot on. This topic has been discussed to death. Here, OP, I'll help you out with the two that are probably mentioned the most on here:

Caudabe Veil: http://www.caudabe.com/collections/iphone-6-accessories

Spigen AirSkin: http://www.spigen.com/brands/apple/iphone/iphone-6/iphone-6/iphone-6-case-air-skin-4-7.html

They're both pretty much the same thing, although the Caudabe is ever so slightly thinner. I bought the Caudabe because I had the same case for my 5s and loved it, and because their warranty policy had to be the best I've ever experienced outside of Apple. And you'll probably need to take advantage of the warranty for cases this thin.

People say the Shumuri is nice, but I've never heard of them and am happy with what I have at the moment. May try it in the future.

Read some of the other threads for more in-depth questions and such. You mentioned you want one that doesn't interfere, and I think you're saying with the screen as well.

So far, it looks like the Shumuri cases are the only ones that are low enough that you don't feel them when you swipe at the edge of the screen. This is the main reason I plan to order one. I love my Spigen AirSkin, but it slightly bugs me that I can feel the lip at the edges of the screen.

As for it being a company no one has heard of, that's true. But many forum posters have received their cases and are speaking VERY highly of them. Check out this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1782294/
