Just as the title states. Who has made the jump from the 6+ to give the s6 a try and then a few days later you find yourself missing the 6+?

I am dealing with that exact dilemma now. I think this may be one of the hardest phone decisions I have to make in a long time. (I know it sounds crazy but to my avid phone switchers you know exactly what im talking about! lol).

I went and bought a S6 a few days ago and after one night with it, found myself missing the 6+. Did some thinking and said well the next time around I will opt for the 64GB S6 since at first I tried out the 32. I get the device set up like I like it and run it for a day or two and I am finding myself wanting to go back to the 6+ once again.

The things I miss with the iPhone:
    -Battery Life
    -Greater App quality
-Smoothness of the OS (TW is smooth but still lags here and there.
-Typing experience is overall better than the S6 imo.

I know people will argue me down but there are all my thoughts. The S6 is an EXCELLENT phone, do not get me wrong but sometimes it just still feels like its bloaty TW that you have to alter this and that in order to get it to work to your standards without disabling this and tweaking that just to make the battery last throughout the day.

Anyone else in this same boat?

You tried something different but your personal priorities in a device favour the 6+. That's not a bad thing or a wrong thing, it just is what it is.

As long as you finish with a device you prefer and get enjoyment from using it doesn't matter what people here think tbh.

I find battery life on my S6e far less than either my N6 or 6+. Likewise I find whilst the device is smooth, the app refreshes I'm getting in some apps rather annoying, and for that reason I find myself using either my N6 or 6+ currently when consuming media.

I have no doubt for others the S6 & S6e will be the best devices they have ever used, for me its a very good device - but one that hasn't blown my socks off overall. I plan to keep it however until the Note 5 or Moto X 2015 come out.

Yes! I still have my 6 plus, but I really want to try an S6. I know I would miss FaceTime and iMessages though. I wish apple would make an android app for them. What did you do with your iPhone? I would not want to sell it because I'd probably be sorry later and want it back. I really can't afford to have two phones though. Decisions!

I've jumped from phone to phone over the last couple of years and the one thing I've learned:

You can only really get a proper feel for a phone if you use it for at least 3-7 days, solely.

That's the only way, otherwise your muscle memory is so used to your old phone that nothing compares!

In the end you have to go with what works best for you. No matter what others say. If you like your 6+ better then why use anything else? Go with what you like. If some people try to put you down for that then shame on them. They are not in your shoes. They can't speak for you!

I find the S6 to be the best android phone i have had. The only drawback for me if the battery life could be better. It is not a phablet so it doesn't have the same size battery as a larger phone does.
But I find myself switching back and forth to iphone.......S6.....N6 or N4 all the time.

Gotta go with what you like the most!

If you prefer the iPhone/iOS then there's nothing wrong with that at all - everyone has their own reasons, needs, and preferences for one device instead of another. No use me telling you I'm really happy with the S6 and that, for me, it's the perfect size and doesn't have any weaknesses. Or that I find the 6 too small, the 6+ too big, and both annoy me by refreshing Safari tabs too often.

I can understand the lure of iMessage, FaceTime, and the App Store. Most of my family and friends have iPhones and that's partly why I choose a Retina Mini and Air 2 as my tablets of choice (Edu app choice being another factor).

Use what you like and what fulfills your needs. You know we're dealing with first-world problems when a few millimetres of size, PPI, app quality, and such are occupying our time so much.

    ^^ this.

Not sure I really miss anything other than Motion X Drive as my GPS. iMessage......meh....nothing there that I find myself missing and I communicate with iPhone peeps all the time. FaceTime.....don't use it or any video chat so I don't miss it. My daughter is the one in our home who uses it but she can catch me on my Note 3 with Hangouts as she runs that too.
