iPhone 6 Touch ID upgraded from 5S?

Anyone feel like touch id was upgraded? I'm getting very few failed attempts when unlocking than on my 5s.

Absolutely- enough so that I actually use it on my 6+ and never did on my 5s.

The 5s very frequently failed to recognize my prints.

I was thinking the same thing. On my 5S it would fail quite a lot for unknown reasons (hands dry, not dirty, etc). On my 6 it hasn't realy failed at all.

Yea quite often if my finger was dirty or I was sweating I would fail on my 5s. I rarely see any failed attempts on my 6

I honestly wanted to give up on Touch ID on my 5S for a long time but I hung in there with it, and i'm glad I did because I am loving it on the 6 now. If I had given up on the 5S I probably would have just wrote it off on the 6 and not even tried.

I might give it another shot. It did not work, at times, on my 5S. Got to be a pain and turned it off.

Seems to work better for me, and feels smoother (might just be because it's a new phone though).

ios 8 made my 5s touchid nearly perfect now. so it could just be software related.

alot of it was the ios 8 GM it worked much quicker and better since the gm even on my 5S.

I didn't have the 5s so I can't compare but I've been beyond impressed with how quick and accurate my wife's 6 is at TouchID.
