Yep isn't in fantastic we all have choice in phones and aren't stuck to one ecosystem? Its an amazing thing.maybe next year I'll buy a Windows for the fun of it.
Back in the day this was the primary reason for going with Apple. But today I like the selection better in the Play store. Nothing in the Apple Store can touch MX Video player for playing any file locally and online. Trying to stream video from my Asus router was a terrible experience; not so in Android. Google remote desktop is free and even works behind my VPN. And the Autozone, slickdeals and Craigslist apps are better on Android. Plus the Web browser app selection and features are far superior on Android.
When I had the iPhone 6 for 8 days I felt completely lost and could not find apps that worked for what I do. I had 161 apps loaded on a 128GB device yet I was not happy with anything I downloaded.
Mind giving me some examples? Safari has an auto-immersion mode built in. Most apps are shared between platforms and are similar in appearance. Otherwise, I'm not really seeing what you are referring to.
Every app I use has been updated to use iOS 7 and gesture based navigation. I'm just seeing a plethora of apps with big navigation bars eating screen estate. Though 90% of android phones are losing screen space to navigation bars, which is part of why I prefer Samsung.
