I did a separate post on this TuffLuv case, but it quickly dissapeard down the line of posts, so I thought I’d add it to the “Wallet Cases roundup” post.
I really like the look and functionality of this case. I use a car mount for my iPhone, and with most wallet-type cases you need to remove the phone from the plastic case holder every time you want to use the phone in your car. Not very convenient. With this TuffLuv wallet, the phone is in it’s own separate leather case that is held in the wallet with a magnet, making it very easy to remove to put in a car mount, or anytime you want to use the phone free of the wallet, yet still keep it protected with it’s own case.
My concerns are: 1)having a strong magnet next to my drivers license, credit cards, etc. 2)The weight of the case with magnet and metal. 3) Just how big is this case?
And 4) Expensive. ( but maybe not since you are getting two leather cases in one)

These looks so good!!

just two general questions for people who have used this type of case:

1- does it demagnetize your cards?
2- do the card numbers scratch your phone screens?

Wow I dig this case. Looks great and nice flexibility. Has anyone used one of these cases before to talk to how strong the magnet is? Want to make sure that the phone doesn't slide around, etc.

I have been looking at folio cases for weeks to consider for my 6+..... but the thing I can not figure out is why NO manufacturer makes one that has a cut out in the flap for the camera and magnets to hold the flap flat against the back side while in use...... I mean seriously....it seems like a common sense useability issue.

When the plus was first announced I hoped Moshi would make a version of their versa case for it... the origami one that has the same fuctionality I am discussing for the ipad mini...minus the camera cut out..... I wrote them and their reply was a simple no

I need help finding a folio case. A lot of the options I've seen in this thread are ok but not exactly what I had in mind.

What I'm looking for is essentially a folio like this:

http://www.dockartisan.com/collections/cases

BUT, a regular thin case rather than the leather backed one. I like the leather/synthetic leather wallet part, but not on the magnetic phone casing.

Does anyone know of any case like this? I believe someone (incipio? Spigen?) did a case with a thin shell but with a snapback rather than a magnetic back. I'd really prefer the magnetic back based on how easy and quick it is to remove and more durable in the long run. Also probably a little more cost-effective since it's not all leather.

It's not a common sense issue because it wouldn't make sense. It would just make the case ugly with cut outs on the front part. Personally if I was to use such a case and I did use one with my 5S I wouldn't want what you're suggesting.

Nice! I like that!

I just received my Hex Solo today.

I like it too until I thought, what if I'm on public train while traveling or NYC subway and I want to surf on the phone. The thieves will see that my credit cards are on the back of my phone. Just snatch my phone and bonus got the credit cards too.

I also don't like the book wallets either cause you got to fold back the wallet portion to back while on the phone, similar problem.

So I'm looking for wallet case where I can detached the phone easily without showing the world my credit cards

I value my phone more than my credit cards. I can easily cancel and replace them for less then the cost of replacing the phone.

Wow...some amazingly beautiful looking cases in this thread, I've had one on my previous phone which had a screen protector on and the problem I found was the cards marking a line on the protector leaving it looking a mess, do others leave the screen unprotected without any scratches or marks appearing from the cards ?

Incipio

http://www.incipio.com/highland-ultra-thin-folio-case-iphone-6.html#

It is very slim. Very pocketable but does not hold much. More like the iPad case in function. We got ours in all black at the AT&T store for $45 apiece because we didn't want to wait for a case to ship. And it's a good thing as a mishap with the family cat caused my husband to splash water and drop the iPhone from chest height. He's 6'2". So it was a good fall onto hardwood floor. Despite looking flimsy the case did its job and his phone is fine. He got his credit card and drivers license in there. I don't plan to put anything in mine.

He had the Book book case for his 5s and I had something similar.
