iPhone iPhone 6 with 9.3.5 Should I upgrade?

I had installed the iOS10 beta trial and found iOS10 to be a little sluggish. Ever since I've downgraded back to 9.3.5 and have not gone back to the 10 land. The only feature I miss of ios10 is that the whatsapp calls are considered a regular call and a second call does not kill your current call.

is the ios10 now a good upgrade for the iPhone 6 (not the 6s)?

Yes it is. My iphone 6 is perfectly fine on IOS 10.

Don't ever compare beta version of a software with the public release version. On my 6 it's working fine. Although, it's a personal perspective on things but once you update you can't go back anymore. So be sure if you really want to update or not.

I still haven't made up my mind. The only real feature in 10 I see is the call handling of whatsapp and skype calls as main calls. That too isin't much of an issue. I'm like one of those windows xp users. however I feel win10 is the best os. off-topic and wrong forum.

yes, upgrade to 10.1.1. Not 10.2.

Yes, I also have an iP6 and skipped 9.x due to poor reviews/performance. I installed 10.x and it's very responsive. Animations are shorter/faster too.

So I finally went ahead and upgraded and I'm not happy. not due to ios10 but due to the fact of my situation.
the ISP here does deep packet inspection on L2TP and IPSEC VPN's. hence the VOIP calls through VPN don't work any more. It used to work on PPTP. Needless to say VOIP calls without VPN do not work. Loosing out on PPTP is a hit. Not sure how IKEV2 will perform

Some places in the world, VOIP is closed. Even with VPN's isp's resort to deep packet inspection and if a voip call is found, the connection is throttled. hence such vpn's are a solution.
