I've had my iPhone 6+ for around two years this december.
I has always been a laggy mess. I just send it in for repair because auto-focus was messed up, screen was loose in top left corner and the touch would freeze up and require reboot.

My carrier gave me a 5S that I could use while the 6+ is getting reparied.
The 5S simply amazes me. Just as fast if not faster than my 6+!
I just flies... The battery is rubbish tho..

Who has the same feeling about the 6+ lagmonster?

You're complaining about a 2 year old phone you've owned, for the 2 years???

My 6 Plus is the best phone I've owned. I used to HAVE to upgrade close to 2 years but my 6 Plus lets me hold off on upgrading till the "rumored" totally new and redesigned iPhone 8 in 2017. Wasnt impressed with this year's 7/7 Plus.

Thank God I see a majority of people (even 6 Plus users)that are not impressed with the new iPhone 7 Plus. Meanwhile very happy with my one year old unbeatable iPhone 6s Plus

My 6+ seemed to be an ok phone. Probably not as fast after 2 years of use and upgrades as my 5s would have been(I only had it for about a year), but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "lagmonster" or "the worst iPhone I've ever had."

*edit* personally, I think the iPhone 3g or 4 were the worst iPhones ever sold.

iPhone 4 - best iPhone ever
iPhone 6+ - worst iPhone ever

i had a 6 plus a few months after it came out. i never had so many problems with an iPhone before that. now i'm using a 6s. its 100x better.

The 6 Plus was a trial and error iPhone. The 6s Plus corrected all the wrongs with the iPhone 6 Plus in my opinion.

If I didn't upgrade to iOS 10 I'd probably still be using my iPhone 6 Plus.

That being said, I now have a 7 Plus and have no complaints. The performance on a day to day basis is similar to what my iPhone 6 Plus was when I had iOS 9 and 8. Oddly enough when I upgraded to iOS 10 I started dropping calls and no one could figure out why. Since I use my phone heavily for business, I had to upgrade. Took advantage of a carrier promotion where I got the $650 trade in for my device so that made the upgrade a bit easier to swallow.

I am enjoying the matte black, the (actually) improved camera, and battery life.

Sounds like you got a lemon friend. My 6+ was one of the best phones I ever had! It took great pictures, ran all my favorite games without a hitch, had Greta battery life and ran all my social media apps smoothly.

My 6+ has been flawless ... however, the most tasking thing I need it to do is Real Racing 3.

I have had zero issues with this phone.

Most likely will last until iPhone 8 for me.

I have a feeling that the 6+ will be one of the slowest devices to run iOS 11 and up. If u like the 4 inch screen , buy an SE
iPhone 5s will be upgradable for just 2 years . iOS 11 and Maybe 12

The 6s+ is currently apples best model

Thing is fat, big and heavy; I'm switching to camp 7. Coming from 5/6/6+/6S+. I like the big screen, but I'm tired of the way it handles.

Performance is great though, but I wonder how it's a better phone than the dual camera waterproof faster performing 3GB 7+.

I loved my 4 lol

I test ran a 6s a 7 and 7+ before buying the Se I currently abuse daily. The Se while smaller was a better choice for my needs and wants. After reading of all the posts of issues with the 6s and 7 I am glad I got the Se and not the others. I still don't understand why apple uses a design from the Samsung s3 as a platform for the 'redesign' but I'm sure it makes sense to someone.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 along with the S2, S4, note 3, and note 4 and I don't see any resemblance between either.

2 years go by and people forget how much we complained about the 6+ when it came out.
Basically same internals as a 5s. Bigger screen but still same amount of ram. Constant refreshing of apps. Etc. the 6+ was is easily the worst iPhone ever made spec wise

Err what? The same specs? The 5s had an A7 and the iPhone 6 plus had the A8.

It can beg all it wants, but you can't even plug headphones into it so it's a worthless phone out of the gate.

Really? Not being able to plug in a headphone makes it worthless? Maybe for a small number of who absolutely must have 3.5mm jack and can't or won't use the adapter. Plus Bluetooth headphones are the future, this always happens a few people are reluctant to move on and fight tooth and nail, then old tech is forgotten and you feel silly... i.e. The floppy disk and the CD drive

I really enjoyed my 6+. It brought me back to Apple after I went to the Moto X, Note 3 for a few years. That phone, the 6+, had INSANE battery life and a beautiful screen. I read more books on that phone than any phone I've had prior. The 6+ is the longest I've ever held onto a phone before upgrading.

Was it without flaws? Biggest problem I had was the 1GB of ram. Open Hangouts after being on Ingress for any amount of time and Hangouts was a fresh open (same for many other apps). This prompted me to early upgrade to the 6s+.

The 6s+ is the single best phone I've ever had (and I still have it, plan on keeping it for awhile too). I sold my Kindle paperwhite, gave my iPad to my wife, gave my little brother my Android tablet, and use it as my only device now. I pair it up with a bluetooth keyboard to take notes and spend countless hours reading books on it. I am very happy with this device.

My phone history): Nokia bricks to Samsung flip phones to Motorola Razr to that first android phone on T-Mobile with the ball for a mouse (MyTouch?) --> Droid 1 (Pete's Bugless Beast!!!!) --> HTC Thunderbolt --> iPhone 4s --> iPhone 5 --> Moto X --> Note 3 --> iPhone 6+ --> iPhone 6s+.

6+ the worst phone? LOL. That was funny.
