Hey everyone. So i've had my iPhone 6 for about 2 months now and have never really noticed until I put mine side by side with my girlfriends iPhone 6. We both have a gold 64gb iPhone 6.

So when i turn mine slightly I can see that my screen goes to a yellowish tint while hers stays nice and white. We both downloaded the same white background just to see the differences. To this point i've never noticed until they were next to each other.

Now my question is should i go and try and get it replaced or would i risk the chances of getting another faulty iPhone? I've never gone in for a replacement. Will they replace something like this?

Thanks!

If it's bothering you then go ahead and get it replaced but there is always a risk of getting another one that is faulty. If the Genius specialist notices it and can reproduce it, they will more than likely replace it for you. I'm pretty sure by now you can request them to have the screen only replaced.

Also if it's the entire screen that's yellow tint, it's not the screen issue, it's the Calibration issue. But I actually prefer it yellow tint (wamer) as it gives more accurate colors IMO.

More accurate colors, LOL. What people will tell themselves.

OP, definitely get the screen replaced. The replacement screens seem to be very good, very clear colors, no yellowing.

So how did it go? Did you score a yellowless screen? I just got my 5th iPhone 6 (brand new sealed) in the mail yesterday and it too has a yellowish tinge that goes from the left to the right. :( yes I've sent back 4 total iPhone 6's all of them had dark splotches and yellow tinged in different places. 3 of them with the FaceTime camera problem out of the box including my new one I got today. My current one is the best of them all but still not up to par in my eyes. My 4,5 and iPad 4 have great uniformity. I've only had this problem with the 6. This new one is a week 51 so they are still putting out the same crappy screens. The majority of people probably don't see these things but once you see it you can't unsee it! So here I go with my 5th iPhone 6 with an uneven backlight and a yellow urine colored blotch this time in the upper left and my uneven FaceTime camera! I actually had one good FaceTime camera and it had this cool blue shine too it. That's how you know it's in there correctly. :) no blue glow with this one and not flush up to the glass. Sorry to go on my my frustration/dissappointment level is at a max with the iPhone 6! :(

Please tell me you're kidding. What are you basing "very clear colors" on? The phone has been out for 24 hours. You couldn't possibly have personally seen a single replacement screen or read a single report about them.
