I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. My iPhone 6 Plus worked perfectly in the car but for some reason my new iPhone 6s has an unbelievable amount of crackling when I connect to a call in the car. At first I thought it was just bad service but it even does it when I have five bars. When I switch to speakerphone it is crystal clear and when I go back to Bluetooth the same crackling is present. Is there something wrong with my new phone?

Honestly not sure. It's a 2013 Nissan. Never had any problems before.

I'd say the easiest way to figure out if it's perhaps a pairing issue with the Nissan or with the phone is to test the Bluetooth connection with a Bluetooth speaker or a friend's car stereo.

I actually tested it with a Bose sound dock and it worked just fine. Just seems weird that all of a sudden this phone doesn't work well with my car when the other one did last week.

I've also noticed Bluetooth static on my iPhone 6s with my Kenwood Navi head unit from time to time. Usually, if I forget the phone/device on both phone and head unit and re-pair, it clears up. Come to think of it, I might be having this issue about every iOS update--I just haven't paid enough attention to notice if minor or just major updates.

I've not noticed this on any new Titan or Murano test vehicles that I've driven, but then again, I might not be driving the vehicles long enough with an update during my test drives to notice the issue.
