What would you go to?

Haven't got that far. Maybe to a cheapish Android + iPod Touch (Assuming they're still made). I could use the Xperia Z3 Compact one handed, not sure about the Z5 compact though, its smaller than the iPhone 6, but i'd have to use one myself.

Also tempted to get a 5S as one last iPhone, depending on what happens.

Very true. I know a handful of Apple employees. Each of them had to sign non-disclosure forms and are usually done quite seriously.
