Lately I've been noticing that my iPhone 6s will charge or discharge in jumps (e.g. go from 8% to 13% charging). It will stay on a number and then after a while change to another one with more than a 1% difference between the two numbers. Anyone else noticing this or have a solution?

I've noticed it. Haven't seen it as anything that requires a solution. Battery is pretty darn lasting, so I'm quite fine with it.

Glad I'm not the only one. How much battery life do you get/do you use a 6s or 6s plus?

I've seen it jump up while charging, but never seen it decrease off the charger with any kind of jump. Battery has been very good for me.

A few days ago I've noticed a very high jump. By the first look it was at 41% and just 15-20 minutes later at 18%
But hopefully this was the first and last time...

I suspect it is iOS9 that is the issue here. My 6S+ jumps on charge and a test 6+ also on 9.1 does the same.
Likely something they can fix.

Same here, was on 68% yesterday and a few seconds after connecting the charger it jumped to 70%. Maybe its a software bug.

I think there must be a bug in the software that reports the battery charge. Especially when the battery is very low. Not sure if mine is doing it as I just plug it in and do not "watch" my phone while it charges, I go to sleep.

I'd suggest to recalibrate the battery by draining till the phone shuts off then charging to 100%. My 6s hasn't shown a jump in % but my old android always does so when I charge it with an unreliable charger (portable charger or 3rd party chargers). That phone would always have poorer battery life as when when charged using the unreliable charger. Having experienced such issues I refrain from charging my 6s with unreliable chargers and portable chargers unless absolutely necessary

Have most of the same symptoms. Only jump ups tho - no downs. Think its not a major issue as the calculation always catches up in 5 to 10 minutes. But yeah its annoying.

Most people dont use percentage anyway so they wont see it and complain to apple. Most people defined as people not on these boards

based on what people are saying a recalibration or DFU will NOT fix it. not sure about 9.2 though
