iPhone 6s bent

So I have a naked iPhone 6s and tonight I noticed that there is a bulge on the back of the phone on the right hand side by the power button. I am stumped as what to caused this. I did not notice it earlier today, and did not do anything to cause it to bend. I was actually ringing the bell for salvation army tonight 🙂.

Is it the battery?

Maybe you sat on it before or something put pressure on it causing it to bend.
They do not bend on their own and no its not a battery problem.

But it is not like a full out bend, it is just a bulge on the right hand side.

It could be battery swelling. Take it to Apple Store asap.

Either you outright bent it, the battery is swelling, or you bent it so the battery is swelling.

I'm not aware of anything else that it could be.

The 6s has the strengthened 7000 series aluminum compared to the iPhone 6 6000 series aluminum. That being said, perhaps the battery is bulging with the difficulty of bending the 6s (Not that it can't be bent).
