Iphone 6s chance of the following:?

2 - 0% chance, gimmick.
3 - 95% chance they cant keep on with 8MP forever.
4 - 99% or there will be riots by the refreshing gods.

1 - 0% external appearance will be the same
2 - 0% as above
3 - 80% I think this will be one of the new features on the 6s

1 and 5 will probably be addressed with the 7. 2 may be addressed with the 7 but only if they can do it without adding bulk or port covers

What chance would you guys give to the following happening on a NORMAL iphone 6s:
1) Non protruding camera
50/50 I'm sure they'd prefer it not to protrude
2) waterproof
0. Water resistant chance is high
3) higher mpx camera
They will up it minimally but I'm fine if they don't sensor size is more important 75% chance I'd say they go 13mp
4) 2gb of ram
95% chance. They used every bit of that 1gb and it is fully optimized. It is time for 2gb.
5) reduced phone size (reduced bezels)
Minimally reduced only. The form factor and stylization is iconic. They will not stray too far too quickly. Changes will be gradual.

Agreed. If Apple follows what they have been doing in the past, the 6s will be the exact same size and have the same external appearance as the 6.
I'd be willing to bet the 6 gets OIS. There should be decent camera upgrades on the S model, and I suspect RAM will finally be stepped up, as well as the A9 processor.
I'm also predicting the front camera will be bumped to a 5MP.
I don't think for factor will change. I do think that the 6S will be the one that should have the longest usable life of any iPhone to date.

I'm surprised you guys don't think they'll change the protruding camera. the iphone 5s had a different home button appearance compared to the 5.. which is why i thought the 6s may have the same slight change to distinguish itself as superior to the 6.
I don't think they will get rid of it. The camera has to have good specs, and the phone is very thin. I don't think most people mind having just a tiny ring portrude on the back if it means great images. Most people also get cases that negate it protruding at all.

I thought it'd be funny if they did the following.
Setup the iPhone as getting.
Double the RAM
Double the cores with a quad core A9
Double the "Shatterproofness" of the screen via Saphire
And then send out an invite that has just "The 2nd Coming..."

Too many newbies here. They never change the design/form factor for "S"-type updates.
3G to 3GS and 4 to 4s didn't have any major external change to distinguish the latter as superior, yet they were able to sell a boatload of them.

You're SO wrong! The 4S had antenna lines on the SIDES instead of on top, it is clearly way superior! /s
I wrote major changes. Antenna line placements are not major changes and neither were the metalized imprints on the back that the 3GS gained over the 3G.
Here's the thing: If you make the camera thinner the chip has to get smaller because the lens is even closer.
I'm not sure Apple is going to take that hit on quality and low-light ability.
It's nice to say "oh, cool, it doesn't stick out." But you have to ask what the cost is in terms of image quality. And I don't think Apple's willing to pay that cost.
You actually think they'll make the iPhone 6s/6s+ even thinner as a S-type update? I'd think they'll reserve that for the 7/7+, as they don't typically change the form factor in between.
FYI, sapphire is a harder material than glass. It'll shatter easier but is more resistant to scratches.

2. I hope they do as that was one of the things that made me switch to android and I'd like to go back. However being realistic I don't think Apple will do it soon.
3. Probably, they need something to market as better.
4. I'd say almost 100% there are enough people who would be upset if they didn't
