About 50% of the time when I turn the phone off or put it to sleep mode with the side power button, I can hear a creaking/rattle near the vibration switch.

Initially I thought this was the leather case making the noise. I took it off and the phone itself is making the noise.

Anyone else have any issues with this? It doesn't prevent me from using an otherwise great phone, but I wonder if there is a gap in the screen or defect in the aluminum causing it.

It's a rattle sound when you push the sleep button. I think it's either the switch or the glass isn't completely sealed.

As petty as it sounds, I may have apple send a replacement. Nothing like a rattle to annoy me after paying $850 for a phone. I'm going to wait until my wife sets hers up to see if her iPhone rattles too.

This is the first iPhone I've ever had a problem with. I've purchased the original, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5S, 6 and now the 6S. Perhaps I should start skipping more! Only one skipped since they came out.

Apple sent a replacement. The replacement definitely doesn't make a noise when pressing the sleep/wake button.

After a few days, occasionally (maybe once every 25 times) I hear a popping sound when I hit the sleep/wake button.

I'm wondering if it's a speaker that's popping.
