Iphone 6s+ empty sms messages.

My iphone has empty sms messages.

It shows I received them but they are empty.
Thee are older ones, new ones are fine but one they mature pat about 3 months thy are blank.

It says who they are from but no body to message.

Messages is set to save messages forever.

bit annoying as I keep some for reference later.

Any idea?

I blocked out some numbers and details etc for privacy...

Settings/messages/message history/keep messages.
If you have it set for 30 days for example they could be removed/deleted once they get old maybe?

First post says that the phone is set to never delete messages.
