Hi,

initially I was determined to buy the official Apple Leather or Silicone case for my new iphone 6s. However, i dislike that both cases do not protect the bottom of the phone.

An alternative i have in mind would be the Spigen Neo Hybrid Case - this is basically the kind of case i would want (full protection, better grip, nice building quality).
As im using the Apple Lightning dock, im not sure if these 2 are compatible. I have read contradicting statements concerning this online. Might this be due to the slightly updated 2015 version of the case?

Are there similar or even better alternatives out there that fit into the Apple Dock without any trouble?

Thank you!

I just bought a UAG clear case for my gold iPhone 6S+. Works on my Apple dock. The case looks
really good and feels good too. If I had a space grey iPhone, I would have bought the orange UAG.

Yes, that's my case.. I also have a glass screen protector on mine. The bottom has openings for
the ports. I don't know why no one else is responding to this post. My tech 21 evo mesh case does
not work with the charging dock. A lot of people like the Magpul cases, but I don't know if it is
compatible to the dock.

Thank you for the recommendations. Im very interested in the Thule Atmos X5 as a trustworthy waterproof/dustproof case for when iam on vacation.

For everyday use, I bought a Incipio NGP case yesterday and I do really like it. The case does work perfectly with the Apple Lightning Dock, it protects the bottom of the phone, the buttons feel nice, it is not too slippery and doesn't add much bulk. It is also great, that the material of the case doesn't seem to attract as much dust/lint as the Apple Silicone Case, which I have been using up until yesterday.

The only downside is, that the case was slightly damaged out of the box. There are some scratches/cuts in it, but luckily I ordered through Amazon, thus they will send me a replacement as soon as possible.
