Couple days ago I dropped my iPhone 6s on a thick rug in my bedroom, it looks like this right now, will that be covered under warranty? I don't mind to pay for it, but it would be better if it is covered
Thanks for your reply. I heard that if there're no signs of impact, it will be considered as a defected screen glass. Is that true? I have never dropped my phone before except this time. The One Year Limited Warranty does not cover accidental damage. They will, however, replace your screen for a fee.
From my bed, about 2 feet I guess. I dropped it on a very thick rug, still can't believe it is this weak
i have heard of plenty of people getting a screen replacement if no signs of impact/one hairline crack.
There have been a few threads where people reported a spontaneous crack forming. Apple seems to replace these as defective, since they are not like the spiderweb cracks that form from hard impacts.
I bought my phone in a Tmobile store, will apple still fix that?Yeah I dont know about those "spontaneous" glass cracks claims.
But Apple is nice enough and consumer friendly to take care of situations like that and err on the customers side.

I was told by a Genius a few months back that as long as there is no sign of impact on the phones casing, they will replace the screen for free.
Edit: My screen cracked with an Apple leather case on. No impact on the phone, they replaced my screen for free. I was shocked when the Genius said the above statement. I was expecting to pay the whopping $200 replacement fee
Correct. I guess they deem is as a hardware issue, especially if there is no point of impact. Unless if your screen is completely shattered. If you're honest and forth coming with Apple, it goes a long way.

Guys thanks for your answers and I greatly appreciate that. I just arranged a Genius Bar appointment, hope they would fix it
Just came back from the Apple Store, no luck at all
The rep said there was a tiny crack on the top right and it's not covered
