Yesterday I noticed that my iPhone 6S has stereo speakers too. The same way de iPhone 7 stereo speakers are working. (Bottom speaker + earspeaker on the front).
What I did:
Open spotify and play a radio.
Then go to a whatsapp chat and press the foto icon.
The camera will pop up and your music will come from the earspeaker.
So basically Apple disabled this feature with software and the iPhone 7 isn't so upgraded after all.

I can't contest to how Spotify works on the 6s. But your 6s will not use the earpiece speaker for speakerphone calls, Apple Music, other various audio controls, which the iPhone 7 can do. And how does the 6s speaker compare to the iPhone 7 speaker in terms of audio quality? Also, the earpiece speaker on the iPhone 7 is larger than the 6s, which may make it louder.

And to say the iPhone 7 'Isn't so upgraded after all' is highly inaccurate and untrue. There are improvements on the iPhone 7 in many facets. Just to say one feature you feel is applicable to one specific application on your 6s compared to the iPhone 7, does not prove anything.

What are you talking about? Dit you know that even the 1st gen iPhone had "2 speakers"??? I guess that means Apple fooled us from day one right?

"2 speakers" is somehow different than "stereo speakers".

A little known fact is you only need one speaker for stereo sound.
