Switched on my new iPhone 6S & now I'm noticing uneven backlight from top right to bottom left , does anyone else has the same issue

It becomes very prevalent on white background

Should I go for a replacement ?

No, I don't even have an iPhone 6s, but I would like to see the results, which for some reason have been hidden for me unless I vote, so that's what I voted.

There are a few threads on this same topic here. If this is something that is going to bother you every time you look at the screen, take it back and get a new one. There is no guarantee when it comes to getting a perfect display, though.

I'll look into it , even I have seen many people complain about getting the same issue with the new replacement iPhones also

I've got a 6s Plus, and I don't have that issue. If you think this might bother you a great deal, you might want to make a Genius bar appointment or go for an exchange before time runs out for you.

How long before I can exchange the phone for a new replacement ?

Where did you buy the device? I would check their replacement policies. Also, be aware that there is a likelihood that the device you get back *may* be a refurb. Personally, I don't mind getting a refurb from Apple, but some people do care a lot.

14 days, and if they don't have stock, just return the device and try again next time. Not sure about UK, but here in the U.S the 6S (not Plus) are readily available in vast majority of Apple stores that I see and really no need to make reservations on those. It's the 6S Plus that you really need to reserve in order to get your hands on one.

This is a "feature" of all phone screens these days. You won't find anything that's perfectly uniform. Just deal with it otherwise you're going to drive yourself nuts. Even in the "similar threads" section at the bottom of this thread, you'll see lots of threads about this issue dating back to the iPhone 4.
