iPhone 6s Homescreen Menu Bar

I had the iPhone 6+ and just upgraded to the 6s. Now my app icons are running into the menu bar. Is there a fix for this? I've tried:

• Restarting phone
• Changing display zoom from standard to zoomed back to standard again
• Turning reduce motion on
• Adjusting font size
• Updating to 9.0.1

That's too bad. I remember when something similar happened with iOS 8 that did the trick for me then. Might need to restore/reinstall possibly then to see if that would finally do it.
