I just bought a new 6s and restored a backup yesterday around noon. It had been connected to Wi-Fi for about 4 or 5 hours so I assumed it was done restoring. However the spinning loading icon next to my data is always spinning, even when its not connected to Wi-Fi. Could it still be restoring? Or is it some sort of bug?

Have you restarted the phone to see if it goes away? I used to see the animated swirling thing spin after updating an app via the App Store but that was on an older version of iOS than your phone is probably running. Restarting always fixed that.

This worked perfectly! Thanks so much!

You're welcome. There are waaaay more knowledgeable folks here than I but I always assumed the animation itself was stuck on screen with nothing actually going on, thus the restart = fixed behaviour, but I'm not sure. Glad it worked out for you!
