I'll also speak up in favor of the iPhone 6s Plus. I came from an iPhone 6 and wanted the larger screen. I knew after about 2 months or so with the 6 that I had made a mistake in not getting the 6 Plus, but decided to wait until the next series came out. I'm totally happy with everything about my 6s Plus, battery life, smoothness, speed size, weight (and I always put my iPhones in cases which of course adds to the weight).

I'll now do my little happy dance with my 6s Plus.

Consider yourself extremely lucky that you didn't get the 6+. The 6S+ is the first big-screened iPhone worth anyone's time.

Typical use two days weekend, normal charge every night.
40% AT&T LTE one to two bars
60% WiFi AirPort Extreme 802.11ac Comcast cable 120 Mbps
25% screen brightness manual, except when outside at 100%
Hey Siri on all time, mail at 15 min, system services share location and find phone on others off, iCloud music, location on for apps if using except for weather on always, auto app update on for blocker apps others off, diagnostics usage on, advertising off, WiFi assist off, low power mode not used.

Have run this several times since receiving phone on 9/25 with similar results. All running smoothly, no lag, no issues what so ever. It's a keeper.

Your 6s plus battery life is Blevins better than my 6 plus battery life.:confused:

I would concur with this... I love the 6s Plus.

I had numerous iPhones over the years but was a proclaimed small phone guy and stood fast with the 5s and loved it. Then I switched jobs and they forced me to a Galaxy s5 which I toiled with for 6 months before giving up and coming back to the 6s Plus. The Galaxy opened my eyes to bigger phones and made the switch much less abrupt.

My wife now has my old 5s, and when I pick it up it feels like a feather with a tiny screen!

So basically because they crippled the 6 plus with 1GB of ram the 6s plus is an amazing phone? It's unfortunate Apple routinely gets away with that

The 6s+ is an amazing phone by any measure, whether you compare it to last year's iPhone or a competing current model like the Galaxy S6. I've seen web browser tests and benchmarks comparing the 6s+ to the Galaxy S6 and for the most part the iPhone leaves the Samsung in the dust.

As for last year's iPhone 6+, it was not a bad phone. It mostly served my needs well and I really liked the large, bright, sharp display. However Apple absolutely DID go too far in trying to make do with 1 GB for one more year, and it showed. I was irritated like you are. I didn't regret buying the 6+, but Apple missed an opportunity to make it a much better and more reliable device.
