Hello, for me, the iPhone 6s+ is large enough to be a phone that could fit in pockets. The next step (for comfortable viewing) would be tablets of size 10-12". Why Apple keeps making larger phones like the X plus? How will people put such large phone into their pants' pockets?

Uhm the 6s+/7s/8s are the largest phones apple makes. The X has smaller dimensions.
There is no X plus, so we don't know what Apple might or might not do in the future.

As @Powermax stats above, the iPhone X is smaller than the 6+ and its updates.

Due to the sales of the X being higher than the 8, next year there should be an X+ (or whatever they call it). I'll be ordering if they do. I could never go back to a standard size iPhone.

As long as it fits in my pants, that’s my limit. I can go bigger than an iPhone plus; but obviously has to be smaller than a mini lol.

There is no X plus, so you don't have to worry.

Even if they did, and you feel its too big for you, consider that your needs/wants are not everyones? Maybe others want a larger phone. Personally, I'm happy with the X's size but that's just me.

Woman have pocketbooks and don't need pockets in pants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also consider the physical size of the X plus, we don't know it, because Apple doesn't make it, so its impossible to say whether a future unannounced speculative phone will be too big. If anything it will be the size of the 8 plus but with edge to edge screens like the X is.

Because lots of people like the size of the Plus sized phones, and are okay carrying them, putting in a purse, or cargo pant pockets, or have larger pockets?

Your poll does not make much sense as the X is smaller than the 6 Plus, and actually not much bigger than the regilular 6/7/8 (mostly a bit taller). It fits fine in my small hands, small lady pant pockets, and small handbags ;)

Oh, and there is at this point no X+ so we have no idea how big one might be if Apple releases it, maybe the similar to the 6+/7+/8+ in form, just a larger screen.

The 6/6S/7/8 were great sized phones for me, and to that end the X is just about spot-on. Anything larger and it would be too big for me, just pointless having something you can't use with one hand easily.

The thing is, Apple will make whatever people will pay for. If people feel the need for huge phones that look ridiculous, need two hands to use and need a bag to carry, fair play to them. Not for me though. Some people see the size of phone as a kind of status symbol, "hey, look how big my phone is", going on the basis that bigger costs more and therefore shows wealth. Well no longer, because the smaller X costs more, and I think that's why people are complaining - their once flagship phone is no longer flagship.

If apple sticks to smaller bezels, the iPhone X plus will be slightly smaller than the iPhone 8+. Except that it might be a little bit longer, but not wider, which will be fine with me.

I used to use my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 as my phone. Very good feeling when people were looking at me.

I apologize to all of you that I made a mistake. I thought the iPhone X were larger than the 6s+. Thus, the confusion...

Don't know the reason but I cannot edit the options available in the poll.

Where the bullet comes....
There are people that think the X is larger than the Pluses and some who think it isn't. The screen as far as i have seen is larger. The phone itself is not. There is more phone on the Plus, more screen on the X, and a better one at that. My wife and her friend who just got an 8plus were comparing the two this morning and my wife said the X screen was def a more defined and clearer screen.

You aren't the only Apple customer. Other people will different tastes and needs from you, buy bigger phones. Why did you ask the answer to such a simple and obvious question?

You aren't the center of the Apple universe.

Well I am a long term Apple customer. I have been using Apple products since Apple II. Without loyal customers like me, Apple could have went out of business before it turned into a phone/tablet focused company for the mass market. Everybody has the right to express his or her opinion.
