i said "can you say apple to give me 500$" discount on iphone? its just small money and apple is big company why they would Bother??
so i got replacement,

i told them my DEAD PIXELD phone better than Dusty one.

I stopped reading your "rant" as soon as I came to this part, " didnt expected these things from "APPLE"".
Didn't get the "perfect" screen that you want? No problem! That is what Apples no hassle return/exchange policy is for. Return the iPhone instead of exchanging it multiple times and wait a bit. No company is perfect, including Apple. ;)
Btw, I don't know why this issue required a new thread as there are multiple other redundant threads on this same topic that you could have added this too.... Just my 2¢

Call Apple or go to the Apple store to find out.

That's the problem - I don't think there are any Apple Stores in India yet and Apple don't sell directly online.

He's stuck with re-sellers and carriers who have very different policies.

Well there you go. Makes you wonder if they're actually selling NEW Apple iPhones or refurbished. If Apple doesn't sell online in India or have a store there, that should tell you something.

You take a risk knowing this. I am not even sure these places selling the phones are "authorized".

I'm not sure that's true. That's like saying any iPhone purchased from a carrier rather than Apple is 'dodgy'. There are more countries out there that Apple don't operate in directly than ones that they do.

Well we don't really know your consumer laws. Here in the UK, you're well protected within the first year of purchase.

Did you purchase using a Credit Card? If so, that may offer some protection. Try calling them and explaining the situation.

Is it less than 14 days since you purchased the phone? Did you pay by credit card? Can you get a chargeback/involve your credit card company? I'm not familiar with Indian consumer law so can't suggest anything else. Ask to see the manager, demand a replacement or a refund.

Your only option is to send letters, ask to speak to management, be polite but firm and don't give up! Involving courts etc will be expensive and there'll be no guarantee of winning. If all fails and you're stuck with the device you could always send it away to Apple for them to put a new screen on? Call Apple and ask for your options. They should offer an international guarantee, even if you have to mail the phone to them.

Have also iPhone 6S with 2 spots with dust or dead pixel, can't say if it is dust or dead pixel, but nevermind. Furthermore, two friends also got 6S with 1-3 spots dust or dead pixel.

Having to deal with a dealer and not directly with Apple means the OP, in India, has to play by his rules and Apple may not be able to do anything to help. The 14 day return period does not sound like it applies. Paying cash is another negative here as the OP has little to no recourse!

I'm very sorry to hear you got three defective units. Yes, unfortunately there are sometimes quality control issues among Apple products. But I've researched the alternatives and they all suffer imperfections and their share of disgruntled customers and international barriers to optimum customer service. That's why it's as important to evaluate the reputation and policy of your reseller as it is the product you're buying.

In countries in which Apple has a true presence and in which consumer protection laws are very strong, we get a level of service that usually compensates for manufacturer defects. Your reseller did process two exchanges for you. Perhaps try one more time very politely and ask them if they get compensated when they return merchandise to their source. If it's no financial loss to them, explain how establishing a good relationship with you and your good word of mouth on their customer serve will help them rather than hurt.

If you go in acting outraged that you paid a certain amount and therefore demand perfection, let me tell you, that doesn't get you very far even in the USA standing right in the middle of an Apple Store. Work with them. They did in good faith try to work with you twice already. Unfortunately a lot of people in general and salespeople in particular don't see the big deal about dust. Most will deny they can even see it. Especially ones who try to shrug off a dead pixel. You're going to have to use your best people skills to solve this.

I thought it was dust too but the Apple store guy said those were actually dead pixels as well. I exchanged 2 phones and turned down a third, all of which had dead pixels in the top left signal area. (where the dots + Verizon/Carrier text is).

The second phone was actually flawless when I got it and it developed them over 5 days. Currently I'm just using my old note 3 and going to wait a month before purchasing.

Wow, that's incredible. I don't know what's going on but since my husband got his very first Apple IIe back in the 1980's we've never seen a quality control problem that necessitated that many returns. A few years ago my husband did have to return two iPads one after the other for bad display tinting problems. I don't remember many details but I remember he said a lot of people on a forum were complaining about the displays. It might have been MacRumors forum he was referring to, I don't know. But generally we've gotten iPads and iPhones and laptops that were almost flawless.

I did return an IPad Air because the display aggravated my migraine problem. But that is a very rare odd problem with my vision. There is just something about all iPad Air displays that gives me eye strain and I don't know why. I don't even have problems with the non-retina screen on my original iPad mini. So I have no idea why I can't read on an iPad Air display for any length of time. It's weird. But the iPad Air I returned did have a beautiful white, evenly tinted screen. I was so sad to return it but I did get a perfect IPad Mini 2 that I'm using right now.

I've never gotten a bad display from Apple yet. But I do know some people get a run of bad luck on this forum. I'm sorry you're one of them. Please let us know how this all turns out for you. I wish you the best and I'm sorry you've had such awful luck so far.

I've had that smattering of what looks like black dust above the signal dots on every one of my 6S+ screens. I haven't ever exchanged a device for it as it's widespread and fairly insignificant. It isn't dead pixels.
To this day I have never received a display with dead pixels from Apple.
