iPhone 6s+ Not Recording Steps

I cannot figure out why, but my iPhone 6s+ will not record my steps, flights, walking or running. Is there some setting I've missed that needs to be activated? Has anyone else had this issue?

Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness. Make sure Health has access and Fitness Tracking is on.

i have restarted the iphone and still the problem exists. I think restore is the only option.

Yes, restore it, mine is not recording steps either. I should get a replacement soon, but not related to this.

yeah i am getting the replacement so i am hoping to see if it starts recording or not. But i restore my backup then it will do the same right?

Try adding steps to your dashboard in health

I've tried adding in manual steps and soft resetting my phone. Neither option worked. It still says no data on the dashboard and individual pages.

I'm out of town until Sunday and away from my computer. I will try a restore Sunday if I have to. I've already restored it once when it randomly shut off and wouldn't go past the iTunes screen.
