iPhone 6s Plus bad call quality

When you call people is it through FaceTime audio or normal call?
FaceTime audio seems to have an echo at times.
I had this happen to me yesterday when calling one of my stores. It could be the connection. Have you tried calling other people and do you get the same results?
Keep a close eye on your connection. Maybe a restore is needed or a quick visit to the Apple Store.
I tried calling 3 different people and it was all the same. Yea might do a restore tonight and see if that works.
I restored the iPhone 6s plus and set it up as new and it still has horrible voice call quality.

Go to the Apple store and get it replaced or exchange it for a retail unit if they have stock.
I've noticed a massive improvement in call quality since swapping to a 6s from a 6. Genuinely blew my mind how night and day the difference is.

Same here. I have been surprised on how good the calls sound. To me a great improvement over my 6+.
Thanks will set up an appointment at the apple store for Thursday hopefully they have replacements in stock also sucks i just put on a $45.00 body glove glass screen protector saturday.
Will apple reimburse me for the screen protector if they have to swap phones.
I just got 6+S and people I call say they hear an echo when I talk. They sound perfect to me. Also when I play iTunes the music coming out of the speakers sounds like it is clipping & distorted.
I've exchanged twice and both phones had screen protectors on. So that's three I've used so far...
All part and parcel of the iPhone lottery.
Did you. Price the poor quality before you put on the protector/case! Could it be causing the issue?
Have you tried toggling on/off the Phone Noise Cancellation?
No, they won't reimburse you, but if you're polite and bring it up, they may offer you a similarly valued case in stock. You could take said case and keep or sell it. It would be more hassle but better than nothing. Just a thought.
I heard an echo on my 6. I don't have an echo problem when playing music from iTunes.

We have five of these in my family and quite a few of my fellow engineers at work have them. Everyone traded up from the 6 series yet no one notices an improvement like some reviewer reported. The 6 was excellent and the 6S is too. No one notices an improvement.
I have an iPhone6S plus which has god-awfully bad voice quality on regular mobile calls (everyone says they cannot hear me well). I have already switched my phone once (after visiting the apple store assuming a faulty hardware where they replaced it) but it seems to be a horrendous issue with the iPhone 6S plus. Complete PoS device. Won't buy it ever again. It is bad enough to seriously warrant replacing it again, but this time with a smaller iPhone. What a horrible experience!

Most are quite happy with the sound quality of the 6S+ or this place would blow up!
Mine's was the same way. So I just returned it and got my money back. I'm waiting on the 7 or the note 6.
