Hey everybody,

I've replaced my battery a few months ago due to really bad battery drain. Even with this new battery, it still seems to be draining at a very high rate. I'll lose 30%-40% of battery with it being on stand-by overnight for 7 hours or so. Seems like that is way too much. I've tried all the common settings wth background app refresh, accessibility and notifications but it doesn't seem to be making a difference.

The one thing I haven't tried is a complete factory reset. Do you think I should go that route? Any help is appreciated.

I would start by checking your battery statistics and see if there any third party applications contributing to the drain. Make sure you are up-to-date on your iOS updates as well.

Something else you can try, is if you do a factory reset, restore as a new device, do not restore from backup.

For some reason I can't look up my battery statistics. I'm sure it's because I replaced the battery with a 3rd party place. Do you think a factory reset (not from a backup) will bring that back?

I don't know if a factory reset will restore your battery statistics. I have not heard of that before. Otherwise, there is an application called Coconut battery (Highly rated), which you can use to measure the diagnostics of your iPhone battery. Or, you do have the option of contacting Apple for a free iPhone battery diagnostic which they can do in Store or over the phone (I believe they can do over the phone).
