Today I noticed when taking pictures my pictures were turning out blurry, flipped the phone over to notice the camera has completed cracked. Will I need to take it to the Apple Store to get it fixed?

Yup. Schedule an appointment and back up your phone before you go. They'll replace the entire phone.

If you ask the phone nicely, it will repair itself. Problem solved.

No. You don't need to take it to Apple to get it fixed.

There are plenty of third party shops that will gladly rip your phone apart to fix the camera with non original Apple parts thus voiding your warranty and forcing Apple to deny you service on that phone from that moment on.

The bonus is some of those shops will put your phone back together so badly Apple won't even need to look inside to tell you that your warranty is void.
