I'm impressed with X honestly, but it's too expensive. Even though the 8 was also expensive in my budget. I can buy the 7 plus that about same price as 8 (even cheaper actually, because I search for second handed), but I'm still doubt about the price, again.(Hoh, how poor I am 😀).

Then, I look for 6s plus, and I think the price is getting friendlier with me now (again, I search in second handed). Is it still worth it in your experience in 2017, especially in ios 11 (currently 11.1) ?. How is that goes ? Is it fine ? Or having some issues (I'm curious about ram management) ? Or, should I buy the 7 instead ?

I also consider buying the non plus model, but how can I improve battery life ?

I’d say it would be ok to keep for another year if you currently had one and were deciding whether or not to upgrade...but personally, I wouldn’t buy one right now because who knows what iOS will need in terms of hardware 1, 2, 3 years from now.

I’d go with a 7/7 Plus.

If go with a 7+ if you aren’t going to get the newest model. Purchase the most powerful one you can afford with more storage than you think that you need.

The 7+ was a large improvement over the 6S+, especially in terms of speed and cameras. That’s the one I would recommend.

Buy it right the first time or be prepared to buy it twice.

I don't have any iphone btw. I'm currently have Lumia 640XL. But omg how dumb Microsoft is. They won't support w10 mobile soon, and it's laggy in my experience.

I also consider oneplus 3t/5, because i'm impressed on how fast the software is.

Both of my parents have the 6S plus and it still runs really well after the iOS 11.1 update...

Sure, the 7, 8, and X are much better, but if you can only afford a 6S plus, it's still a great phone.

Battery life is highly variable depending on Settings, what type of usage you have daily on your iPhone, applications and how often you charge your device throughout the day. Something else to consider is low power mode, which does help manage the battery.

iphone 6s plus in 2017 ?

why not? it runs ios 11 just like an X...

perfectly fine, go for a 6s!

I’m using an iPhone 6S and it’s still a great phone, but if I was buying right now I’d probably get the 7 just for longevity. If you are only planning to keep the 6S Plus for a year then it would be a great buy, but beyond that I think it’ll start to deteriorate in performance.

You’re right though the X is very expensive, overpriced if you ask me. At the end of the day all these phones offer a pretty much an identical user experience with iOS 11. The semantics are tiny but the cost can be huge.

The 6S Plus is a great phone, still has a headphone jack and has excellent battery life!! If you can afford a little more, then the 7 Plus is a better option
